Why I haven’t been posting, and will not be in the near future.

LONG STORY

Ok, so many of you aren’t aware that “Skybudgie” isn’t just my username.

I have a parakeet, or a budgie, named Sky, and he is my world.

(For those of you who don’t know what a parakeet/budgie is)

Anyways, I’ve been having a lot of bird related drama recently, he is not doing so well.  He’s been bleeding a lot lately, and they can only lose around 12 drops of blood due to their small size.  If this continues, he could potentially die.  Did I mention he is my WORLD?

Naturally, you can understand why I haven’t been posting.  I need to take him to a doctor, so you may not see me on Fantage or see me post until Wednesday.  Sorry for the inconvenience!

    Advice: Follow what the vet says, and never get medication from stores without the vet’s prescription. Most medicines for pets found in stores don’t cure it, but they make it so their symptoms for their disease to not appear. I hope he gets better very soon!

      Thanks Anna! Thankfully, it was only the quick in his nail that was bleeding, so it has been fairly easy to keep up with. Most pet stores carry styptic powder, which is helpful to prevent the bleeding. Also, thank GOODNESS this is a common problem that is easy to treat, but I’m still going to be in and out of WordPress because I need to keep an eye on him.
